A bone to pick
Updated: 21 hours ago
Likeminded friends and I have begun to have serious doubts about whether the ancestors of Indian residential school denialists are buried where they say they are.
Why can’t they just dig them up and present them to satisfy our curiosity? I mean, it’s not like their forebears were children, or that the skeletons would wind up being shipped to museums for displays thousands of miles away. Gosh, that would be barbaric! Uncivilized! You might even say savage!
Put up or shut up, you noble defenders of the West, schooled to a man (well, proud boy) in the glorious history of colonialism, the white man’s burden and the Doctrine of Discovery.
